I started the Open Letters Mail Club because I wanted a more human connection with the people listening to my music. I’ve always felt like there’s only so much you can learn about someone through a screen, and that’s really all we have connecting us these days. 

I also have always loved writing letters. I still have stacks of mail from my friends in elementary school when we used to write to each other.

(Because back then if someone was on the computer the whole weekend, there wouldn’t be any talking on the phone...anybody remember dial-up internet? Haha!)

I decided what better way to slow down and intentionally share my life month to month with my friends on the internet than sending them snail mail?

Each month you’ll recieve: 

-An “Open Letter” (a poem written to a person, place, feeling, memory, or idea).

-A 5x7 art print inspired by the poem.

-A typed letter from me about what’s been happening in my world, the story behind the art, or whatever I feel like sharing that month.

-An extra goodie or two: stickers, bookmarks, recipes, and other little surprises depending on the month. 

So if you’re an old soul like me who loves getting excited about checking the mail, I’d love to be your Pen-Pal!
